Sacramento Valley Veterans (SVV) meet every 3rd Monday of the month (unless otherwise noted) at the Lavender Library, 1414 21st Street, Sacramento, CA. Topics of discussion include post-DADT updates, Veteran announcements from the VA/CDVA, events, etc. All Veterans and Servicemembers from all eras and all services are invited to attend.

COLOR GUARD: If you would like to participate in the SVV Color Guard, send a message to info@sacvalleyvets.com and let us know that you are interested. We welcome all who wish to stand with us at the following list of upcoming events. We presently have eight (8) Flags (U.S., POW/MIA, Rainbow, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Army, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Navy) and an SVV Banner (2).   06/15: Courage To Stand 2013, Time: TBD   We will need a contingent of at least five (5) Color Guard members for this event.   06/16: Sacramento Pride 2013, Time TBD   We would like to have a Full Color Guard for this event, meaning all eight (8) flags and banner being represented for a total of ten (10) dedicated personnel. We may also be presenting at the opening for the Pride; more details will be available as the date gets closer.   11/2013: Sacramento Veterans Day Parade
